My Big Fat Greek Wedding Okay, this movie is about this young woman growing up in a Greek family.
She gets a job at a travel agency where she meets this guy who gives her the eye outside on the street looking in thru the
window of where she works. The two meets, and becomes engaged...but there's a snag, you see....She cannot marry a non-greek!
Well, I am not going to be a blabber mouth and give away the rest of the plot, but it's a funny movie and couples can watch
it together. I was a little disappointed by the actual wedding scene. It seemed a little short. Should've shown more of the
Bride's dress. ( Or is that just me?.) Otherwise I give this flick four garters.
American Wedding This is a much more recent release. In part 3 of the American Pie saga, Jim gets
engaged to Michelle, and now they've got to plan the wedding. Jim enlists the help of his friends including the macho foul-mouthed
Stifner who Jim at first doesn't want at his engagement party. Along the way, Stifner out-dances a gay guy at a gay bar for
a wedding gown for Michelle, and his friends puts on a bachelor party for Jim but were forced to hide from Michelle's parents.
(Which did not stay hidden long.) Lots of crazy events and mishaps (Some gross, some smutty, but ALWAYS laugh-out-loud funny.)
The dog eats the ring, the flowers are all dead, and there's pubic hair all over the wedding cake! But can Jim's friends patch
things up for his and Michelle's wedding? You've just gotta watch it and find out! I give this one four and a half garters.
