Okay, first of all...WHAT'S WITH THE STUPID BRIDAL CLOTHES AND ALSO WHY DO YOU WEAR THEM IF YOU'RE A MAN?!!
Well okay, I enjoy wearing Bridal clothes pretty much as a fetish, but mostly as part of my identity. I do not wear them
to attract other men (Like "drag queens") , but wear them in private. To me my favorite wedding gown and veil is like a favorite
pair of boxer shorts to most other men! Also, I am a VERY limited cross-dresser. I do not wear women's underwear (except Bridal
slips and garters!). I wear my normal men's briefs beneath my gown! Also I'm not into make-up,earrings, or wigs.(I have one
but I don't wear the wig w/my Bridal clothes! Makes me look too much like a Princess Barbie!) I am a very masculine
man.*Tim Allen grunts* Arrrgh! Arrgh! Arrgh! I still like football, cars, military aircraft, and heavy tools! Hardly a thing
feminine w/me, really!
Why is there always a veil over your face when you're pictured in all but one pix of "Big
Mama?"
Well, first of all, why does Indiana Jones wear his fedora slanted? Why did Micheal Jackson wear a glove on one hand
in the eighties? Why did Whoopi Goldberg always wore those cool headresses in "Star Trek: The Next Generation?" Simple. I
think it's the clothes that make the person who she/he is. Each of these is a sort of "calling card" with our clothes.
Also, it's also a sign of my own virginity, just like on a REAL bride. The busher veil over my face reminds me that I'm
holding out for the special Christian woman I hope to meet someday.
And lastly, pictures of brides with veils over their faces are so darned rare these days. I have this odd fascination
for veils over women's faces. I mean I could buy a Bridal magazine with 1,200 pages and there is maybe one (if I'm lucky)
picture in that whole two-inch-thick magazine of a bride w/a veil over her face!
Sadly, modern society seems to shun virginity because more and more people are (ahem) having relations outside marital
boundaries. Well I don't want to sound "preachy" or anything, but I believe strongly in NO SEX til marraige. I was raised
and taught this way in my old Church youth group days.Okay, Bride Guy, off your soapbox!
